Laszlo Liebhardt - Pastor

Born in 1965 in Hungary, Pastor Laszlo Liebhardt grew up in a Seventh-day Adventist family. He was baptized in 1984 and pursued his passion for theology, earning a BA from the Adventist College of Theology in Budapest in 1993. That same year, he received his Certificate of Minister and began serving as an intern and associate pastor. By 1996, he was ordained in Budapest.

Throughout his career, Laszlo has served as a senior pastor in various Hungarian pastoral districts. He also held significant roles such as local Conference Executive Secretary (three times), Ministerial Association Secretary, and Stewardship Secretary in both Hungarian Conferences.

In 2001, Laszlo moved to the UK with his family to learn English and further his theological studies at Newbold College. He earned an MA in Theology of Pastoral Studies in 2005. During his time in the UK, he served as an elder and Sabbath School department leader at Newbold SDA Church and as a senior pastor in Exeter, Torquay, and Wokingham. To date, he has served in 25 local churches.

Since November 1, 2016, Laszlo has been the senior pastor of Bournemouth and Winchester Churches. He also oversees the pastoral districts in Dorset and Hampshire as Area 3 Coordinator. Recently, he had a fulfilling mission trip to Nandi County, Kenya.

Laszlo met his wife, Edit, in 1981 at an Adventist Hostel at Lake Balaton, Hungary. They married in 1987 and have three grown-up children: Attila, Edit, and Peter. Their daughter Edit married Andy Nagel in 2019.
